Off-Site Traffic

The client must create the product catalog themselves, and then provide us with access. From there, you can follow these instructions on how to upload a scheduled feed or follow the instructions in the catalog interface. You will need the feed URL and username/password. 

You will also need to make sure the correct Facebook Pixel is connected to the product catalog. To do so, go to the correct catalog under Data Sources in Business Settings and select Associate Sources. If we have proper access to the client's pixel, you will be able to connect the two.

Facebook's Offline Conversions allow you to track offline activity and see how much of it can be attributed to your ads, as well as measure offline return on your ad spend. This also allows you to show ads to people based on the actions they took offline, and to create lookalikes to people who are like your offline customers.

You will have 90 days from an ad impression to upload interaction data from your physical store location to Facebook's Events Manager. Once offline data has been uploaded and matched to Facebook Users, you can see the number of offline events attributed to people who saw or clicked your ads.
We recommend that you do not drive users to resellers such as Amazon, as you will lose the ability to view sales data within the Facebook platform due to the Facebook pixel not being applied to the site.

Additionally, using Facebook ads to drive traffic directly to Amazon is typically not something you will see immediate results with.

Dynamic ads automatically show relevant items from your catalog to people who have shown an interest in them online. Dynamic ads match items from your catalog with events from a Facebook pixel or SDK, a piece of code installed on your website or app. To run dynamic ads, you need to have a product catalog.
