A history of success

Dating back to 1997

EXCLUSIVE was founded by Scott Smigler when ecommerce was in its infancy, and coincidentally, so was he. Scott was a Sophomore in high school when he created a network of websites that attracted millions of visitors each month, and ad revenue from “over-funded” startups.

As a fourth-generation retailer Scott was naturally drawn to retail, and recognized the power of the Internet to level the playing field between specialty stores and generalists. Scott helped his first ecommerce client grow from $0 to $10 million in annual sales by 2002, and was the youngest speaker at many industry conferences like Search Engine Strategies.

EXCLUSIVE has grown by leaps-and-bounds since then, without any debt or accepting outside investments.

In 1997, while still in high school, Scott Smigler founded EXCLUSIVE, a data-driven e-commerce marketing agency that has made the INC 5000 each of the last six years in a row.

Over the years Scott has repeatedly been recognized as an eCommerce marketing leader. He speaks frequently at business and marketing forums such as IRCE, Search Engine Strategies, the Kelsey Group Conference, MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, and the Yahoo! Merchant Summit. He has also served as the Chair of SEMPO Boston, the largest nonprofit trade organization in the world serving the search and digital marketing industry.

Sheila McAneney VPO

Sheila brings more than 22 years of marketing and education experience to her role and ensures EXCLUSIVE delivers on its promises. With a focus on service to the client, for the past 13 years Sheila has managed the day to day operations of our growing human resources, finances, client services and delivery teams achieving aggressive growth not only for EXCLUSIVE but for our clients.

Sheila began her career in the Massachusetts public schools. She later held several key management positions including running a Marketing Grant for the Massachusetts Foundation Network. Sheila holds a degree from Lesley University.

Nikhil Rajpal VP of Marketing Sciences

Nik Rajpal has been considered a voice of clarity in online retail marketing since 2008, gaining experience and recognition in the sciences of search, usability and strategy. He earned his early SEO stripes as the SEO manager of the worlds largest non-US poker website, dominating results in over a dozen languages. Today, as the Vice President of Marketing Sciences at EXCLUSIVE, he helps lead online retail marketers as they create profitable growth for their e-retail clientele.

Frank Kjaersgaard VP of Product Development

As a former software developer, Frank brings a unique combination of business acumen and technical skills to his role as Vice President Of Product Development at EXCLUSIVE. Frank has over 20 years of success in owning product strategy and vision, executing product roadmaps, and delivering world-class e-commerce applications through cross-functional teams at companies such as Demandware, IMN, Kantar Retail, Zmags and Progress Software. Frank enjoys being a trusted advisor on finding efficient solutions to business critical needs.

Frank holds an MBA in Aarhus School of Business and a MS in Computer Science from Aalborg University.

Tim Smith VP of Ecommerce Strategy

Tim began working at Exclusive Concepts in 2008 and has managed some of the company’s largest clients throughout his tenure. His knowledge and vision have promoted successful client partnerships by continually helping clients grow.

Tim currently leads the strategy team, whose mission is to improve client-partner performance through better strategy, insights and execution. He steers the advancement of Exclusive Concepts’ service offerings and methodologies via novel data application and marketing cohesion. Tim is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Logan Durant VP of Client Strategy

Logan began his Exclusive Concepts career in 2012 as part of a small, four-person paid search team. During that time, he led the evolution of the team into a full-service department of 40 skilled marketing analysts. Along the way, he spearheaded the creation of Exclusive Concepts’ Google Shopping and Marketplace services.

Logan has shared his thought leadership as a speaker at various conferences, including the Yahoo Summit and MarTech Boston. He has a passion for helping businesses grow, as well as coaching and mentoring future leaders at Exclusive Concepts.

Lisa Giorgetti VP of Delivery

Empowering our people to their full potential is vital for growth and innovation. Lisa joined Exclusive Concepts in 2014 as a Google Shopping Specialist managing 30-plus accounts across a variety of channels and verticals. She continually sought out opportunities to improve the team, whether through enhanced training or methodology innovation. After five years of driving client strategy, operations and team management, Lisa now leads the delivery teams by harnessing untapped potential and elevating workflows with purpose.

When out of the office, Lisa channels her love for fitness to empower others and make a difference, from volunteering with the Ulman Foundation’s Cancer To 5k program, participating in the PMC Winter Cycle to running the Boston Marathon to benefit the BWH Stepping Strong Center. Lisa holds a BS in Information Design & Corporate Communication and Marketing from Bentley University.

As VP of Sales, Tim is responsible for leading the sales team to create exponential growth for Exclusive Concepts. He is a goal- and process-driven sales leader who has 15 years of experience successfully working in ecommerce marketing, driving sales strategies. Tim has a knack for building and scaling high-performing sales teams with a passion for teaching, training and coaching salespeople. Tim is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
