Scott Smigler is a visionary entrepreneur and Internet innovator. He is also a recognized expert on Internet marketing, SEO and converting Web traffic into sales, and has been featured on MSNBC, and in Entrepreneur Magazine, Boston Herald, USA Today and other national and regional media.
As president and founder of Exclusive Concepts, Scott sets the strategic direction of the firm and is directly engaged in creating Internet marketing strategies for clients. He founded Exclusive Concepts in 1997, when Internet marketing was in its adolescence. Coincidentally, so was Scott, who was then a 15-year-old sophomore at the Monmouth County Academy of Allied Health and Science. (See company history.)
As business grew and word-of-mouth kicked in, Scott attended Bentley College (in his spare time) while helping clients build successful Web sites, including one that went from zero to $7 million in annual online revenue. Scott's leadership was not limited to Exclusive Concepts. He founded Bentley College's entrepreneurship society, participated in international forums for world energy planning, and was a top finisher in the Global Student Entrepreneur Award contest sponsored by St. Louis University. Additionally, he accepted membership into the Financial Management Association International’s National Honor Society.
Scott graduated with a B.S. in finance, magna cum laude from Bentley College. He speaks frequently at business and marketing forums such as Search Engine Strategies, Kelsey Group Conference, and MIT Enterprise Forum.
