Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization?
I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good results.
If you know of any please share. Thank you!

Hi Bryan,
What are the keywords you’re using? Some keywords, like real estate, or SEO are highly competitive making it difficult to rank. How old is your blog? Fresh content is great, but you’ve got to give yourself some time to build a following. What is your focus? It’s important to stay focused on a particular subject, even if it’s a broad subject. This allows you to build a following of people who know what to expect.
What kinds of content are you sharing? Does it have value for your audience? Does it contain information that they’d be likely to share? If your readers aren’t sharing, they’re also not linking and link popularity has an effect on the popularity of your blog with search engines.
Is that content unique? The most popular posts on my (EC’s marketing director speaking) personal blogs have been about ARGs (Alternate Reality Gaming, from my marketing blog) and iPhone camera filming accessories (from my iPhone movie blog). Not only were they focused, but they were on topics not as heavily blogged about as topics like food, SEO, marketing, sports and politics are.
Remember, there are 70 million WordPress blogs and 39 million and 1 Tumblr blogs (I just launched a new one over the weekend). You should strive to be unique, passionate and provide value. While there are plenty of SEO plugins for blogs, the most important plugin is YOU.
